It wasn't an ordinary night last tuesday. I came home to find two scumbags, dressed in camoflauge, sleeping in the common entrance to the apartment building I live in. No, it wasn't the remaining two from the "Texas 7", but it sure scared the hell out of me, especially since they were suspected to still be in my area. Earlier that day the police had captured 5 of the 7 fugitives. The cops showed up before I could hang up the phone, and after seeing photos of the escapees I was sure that the 2 in my apartment were not the two I convicts. The next night however, the police did capture the two remaining fugitives just a few miles away. I happened to capture the whole thing live on local t.v. since one of the conditions of their surrender was that each fugitive was to be allowed 5 minutes of local t.v. air time in exchange for their peacefull surrender. |
